England
London and the South East pallet supply
The South East holds the highest concentration of freight forwarders, handling agents and bonded warehousing in the UK. Most palletised air freight here never sits on the aircraft itself — it is built, broken down and re-worked in off-airport sheds, then re-palletised for onward road delivery. Demand is heavily weighted towards consistent, clean pallets available in volume at short notice, with export-marked timber for shipments leaving the customs territory.
