London Heathrow pallet supply (LHR)
Heathrow anchors the largest concentration of freight forwarding and cargo handling businesses in the UK, almost all of it off-airport.

The cargo estate and the surrounding industrial areas of Hounslow, Feltham, Colnbrook, Slough and Hayes hold hundreds of forwarders, handling agents, bonded warehouses and courier operations. Air freight arriving or departing here typically passes through several of them, and each transfer involves palletised handling.
Space is the defining constraint. Off-airport sheds are expensive and full, empty pallet storage is scarce, and delivery windows are tight. Pallet supply into this area is therefore judged on scheduling and consistency at least as much as on specification, and collection of empties is often as valuable as delivery of full loads.
Pallet use cases here
Time-critical and AOG movements
Aircraft-on-ground and other urgent parts movements need small quantities of exactly the right base, immediately — often a bespoke skid or case rather than a standard pallet.
Bonded and transit warehousing
Goods under customs control are re-worked in bonded space, where pallet condition affects both handling and inspection. Wood packaging rules follow the movement, so origin and destination need checking per consignment.
High-volume forwarder trunking
Forwarder-to-forwarder movements around the M25 consume large quantities of serviceable used pallets and generate similar quantities of empties.
Catchment
Hounslow, Feltham, Hayes, Colnbrook, Slough, Staines and the M4 and M25 corridors.
Wooden transport pallets are not aircraft unit load devices. We supply the pallets used to build, move and store freight on the ground; ULDs are aircraft equipment handled by airlines and their handling agents.
